Consult the PIN and PUK
To use your SIM card, you'll need a four-digit PIN code.
If you enter the wrong PIN three times, your card will be blocked and you'll need an eight-digit PUK code to unblock it. Be careful, though: if you enter the PUK code incorrectly ten times, your SIM card will be blocked permanently. You can't change the PUK code, but you can choose your own PIN.
Forgot your PIN code?
- Enter the wrong code three times;
- Enter the PUK code;
- Enter your new PIN.
You can find your original PIN and PUK codes on the my NOS app or customer area, or on the card that held your SIM.
Changing your PIN
You can change your PIN by dialling one of these sequences on your mobile phone:
- **04*[Old PIN]*[New PIN]# or
- **05*[PUK]*[New PIN]*[New PIN]#.
You can also change your PIN in your device's settings.
SIM card blocked
If you enter the wrong PUK code ten times, your SIM card will be blocked permanently. In this case, you'll need a new SIM card.
You can request for a duplicate SIM, eSIM or Twin card at NOS stores or through our helpline.
